Acts 20:28

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Eleven people came for the Divine Liturgy on August 7, 2003. Following the Divine Liturgy, Wayne Kirby was presented an icon of Jesus Christ in recognition of his continued kindness toward the Mission.

Following each Divine Liturgy, refreshments have been served at the Mission for those in attendance.

Today a parastos is scheduled for +Rosa Danko.

The Dormition Fast has begun and will continue until the Feast of the Dormition on August 28. Orthdox Christians are expected to joyfully honor the fast.

The St. Nikodim Chapel Slava will be celebrated at the Episcopal Headquarters in Mars, Pennsylvania with the Vigil and Divine Liturgy on September 5 and 6.

Let us give continuous thanks to God for blessing the Mission.

Let us pray and work for the Mission in accordance with the practices of the Holy Serbian Orthodox Church

From the Desert Fathers

He (Abba Poemen) also said, 'When a man prepares to build a house, he gathers together all he needs to be able to construct it, and he collects different sorts of materials. So it is with us; let us acquire a little of the virtues.
