Deposition of the Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos

The Serbian Orthodox Church in the United States and Canada will hold the Sabor in Alhambra, California from October 15 through October 18. All parishes will be represented.
Let us continue to pray for the sick and suffering, for those in jails and prisons and for those in nursing homes, care homes and hospitals.
Let us continue to pray for the men and women serving in the armed forces.
Let us continue to pray for the men and women employed in dangerous occupations such as mining.
Let us continue to pray that we lead faithful Orthodox Christian lives.
Let us pray for Holy Trinity Mission.
Let us pray for the suffering people in Kosovo.
Let us thank God for the many blessings at Holy Trinity Mission.
We are sorry to hear the friend of the Mission, Russell, had an accident this week.
Abba Poemen said that Abba Paphnutius was great and he had recourse to short prayers.
