Acts 10:44

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.

Five people came to the Divine Liturgy on September 13. One communicant.

The serving of the Divine Liturgy and other divine services establishes the presence and history of the Mission in West Virginia.

If God blesses the work at the Mission, the Mission will grow.

We must work in ways that are pleasing to God.

We must live in ways that are pleasing to God.

We must pray in ways that are pleasing to God.

Let us bear in mind the words of the Holy Apostle Paul to the Corinthians: "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who give the increase."

St. Apostle Paul also told the Corinthians: "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Let us work with patience and endurance, seeking the guidance of God for Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Mission.

From the Desert Fathers

Abba Lot went to see Abba Joseph and said to him, 'Abba, as far as I can I say my little office, I fast a little, I pray and meditate, I live in peace and as far as I can, I purify my thought. What else can I do? Then the old man stood up and stretched his hands toward heaven. His fingers became like ten lamps of fire and he said to him, 'If you will, you can become all flame.'
