If you are Too Busy to Pray...You are Too Busy!
Matthew 9:35 - Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages,
teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom,
and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
The Gospel describes the far reaching nature of Jesus’ healing power.
Jesus is able to heal every sickness and disease. Jesus went to all the cities
and villages preaching the gospel of the kingdom. Followers of Christ continue
to proclaim the Gospel of Christ even today. The power of the message has
relevance for all with ears to hear. Life does not need to be lived without
Christ in this current century where immorality and greed abound.
Life does not need to be lived today without peace and joy. Despondency,
depression and despair need not triumph in the lives of individuals today.
Faith and hope in Christ can make a lasting difference..
The healings of the blind men and of the mute and demon-possessed man
illustrate the power of Christ to make a difference in personal lives
The church is a hospital welcoming individuals to bring their infirmities of
body and soul to Christ for healing. Healings of the body may not always be
outwardly visible but Christ can heal the heart and soul enabling bodily
afflictions to be dealt with differently.
Newness in Christ needs solidified. The Precious Body and Blood of Christ
is Christ alive in new believers. Regularly partaking of the Precious Body and
Blood of Christ preceded by repentance and Holy Confession enables believers
to remain directed toward the Kingdom of God. The journey from Baptism to the
departure from this life is fraught with temptations and dangers that can put
the soul in peril. Remaining pure and strong in faith requires looking to the
Most Holy Mother of God for inspiration and example. Remaining pure and strong
in faith requires constant prayer and appreciation of intercessory prayers and
the help of one’s guardian angel.
Each day is a day to consciously experience the joys and blessings of God.
Each day is an opportunity to foretaste the eternal Kingdom of God.
Each day is a day to battle against evil seeking to overcome the good in the
heart and soul. Jesus has the power to heal every illness and infirmity.
Turning to Christ and remaining with Christ is the wisest decision a person will make.
Jesus told the disciples of John the Baptist when they asked if Jesus was the Coming
One: “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see. The blind see and the lame
walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor
have the gospel preached to them.”
Each person hearing about the miracles of Christ has the
ability to weigh the evidence and draw the correct conclusions. The conclusions drawn
will affect each person the remaining days of their lives. The Samaritans said to
the Samaritan woman: “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves
have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”
